| The Day Went To The Dogs!! |

Well today did not go as planned. I went home and slept for a little while before going out and helping out at a pet adoption fair. It was a blast. We almost ended up fostering a dog that was crossed between a Newfinland and a flat coat Lab. This dog was going to be HUGE. At 4 months he was already Del's size and Del is big for a pit! But, before we could get out of there this couple came along and wanted to adopt him. From what we could tell it seemed like he would be going to a very good home. And thats what counts. The funny part is the rescue we went out to help. They were so rude and the rescue outside was so nice we ended up helping them instead *LOL*
So I guess that counts towards the swan project right? Because I...
1. Got off the couch and out of the house..and was even social.
2. Spent a few hours walking dogs...
3. Did something I enjoy!
I hadn't spent time with Heather in a long time either...so that was good. All in all..today was an above average day. The only down side was that it wore me out (I hate that I tire out so easily) so instead of spending the day with Brian like I had planned and promised *frown* I slept and my monitor went out so I had to deal with that.. *groan* He is so amazing...I pray constantly I dont do anything to screw this up.
Right now I am at work..and thank goodness it is pretty slow so I have the chance to talk to him a little bit. |
